Dr. Wang Yifeng ’s Three Key Areas of Expertise
Three areas of focused expertise, each supported by a deep subspecialty team, high case volumes and an English-speaking care pathway coordinated by Orisene.
Gynaecologic tumours
Professor Wang diagnoses and treats cervical, ovarian, endometrial, vulvar and vaginal cancer, planning comprehensive surgery and individualised treatment to remove tumours, control recurrence and improve survival and quality of life for patients with malignant gynaecologic disease in routine clinical practice.
Fertility-sparing surgery
He performs fertility-sparing surgery for young women with cervical and ovarian cancer, combining radical tumour removal with techniques that preserve the uterus and ovarian function to retain reproductive potential for patients who wish to have children in daily clinical practice.
Minimally invasive gynaecologic surgery
Professor Wang carries out laparoscopic and minimally invasive surgery for gynaecologic tumours and reproductive tract anomalies, using small incisions and precise technique to reduce blood loss, shorten recovery and preserve function for women with benign and malignant conditions in routine practice.
More:cervical cancer——fertility-sparing surgery; ovarian cancer——surgery; endometriosis——laparoscopy; uterine fibroids——minimally invasive surgery; reproductive tract anomalies——correction
Selected cases, research & publications
Representative work drawn from documented clinical treatments, publicly indexed literature, and hospital project records, reflecting the depth of this physician's hands-on expertise and academic rigor.
1. Nomogram for Predicting Recurrence in Stage I-III Endometrial Cancer
This multi-institutional study developed a nomogram to predict recurrence in women with stage I-III endometrial cancer after surgery and hysterectomy. By integrating clinical and pathological variables, the model helps gynecologic oncologists identify high-risk patients who need closer follow-up or adjuvant treatment planning.

2. N-Acetyltransferase 10 Promotes Cervical Cancer Progression
This study showed that N-acetyltransferase 10, an RNA modification enzyme, promotes cervical cancer progression through N4-acetylation of SLC7A5 messenger RNA. The mechanism offers a potential therapeutic target for patients with cervical cancer, especially those with advanced or recurrent disease and improving outcomes.

3. Cervical Extracellular Matrix Hydrogel for Cervical Squamous Cell Carcinoma Organoids
This study built cervical extracellular matrix hydrogel to culture patient-derived cervical squamous cell carcinoma organoids that preserve tumour heterogeneity. The patient-derived organoid platform supports drug screening and personalised treatment selection, helping women with cervical cancer receive more effective, individualised therapy.

4. mRNA Vaccine Expressing APC-Targeting Antigen for HPV-Related Cancer
This study designed an mRNA vaccine expressing an antigen-targeting element that directs HPV tumour antigens to antigen-presenting cells, enhancing immune responses against HPV-related cancers. It supports vaccine development as a preventive and therapeutic strategy for cervical cancer and other HPV-associated tumours.

5. Ureaplasma parvum Serovars and Pathogenicity in Chinese Women
This study compared the pathogenic potential of different Ureaplasma parvum serovars in Chinese women of childbearing age. It clarifies associations with genital tract infection and adverse reproductive outcomes, helping clinicians improve diagnosis and treatment of fertility-related infections in women seeking pregnancy.

6. Pioneering Single-Incision Radical Vulvectomy and Uterine Transplantation
As a leading gynecologic oncologist, Dr Wang performed China’s second human uterus transplantation and pioneered the country’s first single-incision radical vulvectomy and fertility-sparing cervical cancer surgery, advancing minimally invasive treatment and preserving reproductive function and improving quality of life for women with gynecologic tumours.

Why patients travel to China for treatment
Six reasons international patients now put China on their shortlist — from internationally aligned clinical capability to the policy channels that make treatment here genuinely reachable.
Clinical capability at international standard
Chinese hospitals deliver internationally aligned protocols, performing vast volumes of advanced robotic, minimally invasive, and complex transplant surgeries annually. This massive clinical data and highly specialized workforce ensure world-class outcomes, even for rare and complex cases.
Diagnostics and treatment in days, not months
A full medical workup that typically means months of waiting elsewhere is completed in China within 48–72 hours. Imaging, labs, and multidisciplinary consultations are integrated into a single visit, allowing treatment to commence immediately.
Transparent, itemised pricing
Chinese healthcare offers legally binding, itemised cost estimates before treatment begins, eliminating hidden fees or surprise billing. Due to national centralized procurement, total expenses remain 40–70% lower than comparable care in Western Europe or North America.
Policy channels that open the door
China facilitates access through 240-hour visa-free transit and dedicated medical visa routes. Policies like the Greater Bay Area drug pathway and Boao Lecheng’s pilot zone allow designated hospitals to administer innovative therapies not yet globally approved.
